Molly and Robert had planned to get married at the White Ranch in Chico, CA. We all know how this year has gone for everyone and the wedding industry was no different. Unfortunately they had to make other arrangements due to so many restrictions.
They decided to have a smaller wedding at a family member’s house. Molly’s family spent countless weekends redoing her aunt’s backyard to host a beautiful country wedding. The barn was freshened up and a platform added to hold the ceremony.
The backyard was gorgeous!
The love for these two showed the entire day. They went through quite a few obstacles to have their special day, including an outdoor wedding on a day that reached 105 degrees. Let me tell you, it was HOT! There were no clouds in the sky and minimal shade, but everyone celebrated and enjoyed themselves anyway. Nothing was stopping this celebration.
The speeches touched hearts and brought tears to everyone’s eyes. There were lots of laughs; especially when the Robert’s brother “iced” the newlyweds.
2020 has brought a lot of challenges so it’s great to be able to see past it and help a couple celebrate their love. I was so honored to photograph Molly & Robert’s wedding and wish them a lifetime of happiness.
