I love doing model calls! They are slightly different than you might think though. In fact, I don’t call them model calls. They are Boudie Calls. The women who are my models are normal women with regular jobs and are not trained in modeling AT ALL. In fact, most of them have never been in front of the camera. The difference is, they allow me to share their images to show that anyone can do a boudoir session. We don’t need to see any more models doing things. We want to see real women that we see every day. We want to see ourselves, and I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t look like a typical model.
Meet Maggie. She is a gorgeous woman and mom. She bravely came to my studio and had some really fun ideas for her session that we collaborated on. She loves to read and brought a book, sweater and some adorable knit stockings that added to the whole vibe. She was nervous at first, but you’d never know it looking at her photos. We went through the closet and picked out some pieces to add to what she brought.
